CONGRATULATIONS, HON. CHRISTINA C. BARROGA! Newly appointed Judge.

Atty. Chrristina Barroga is an active member of ACPACI. She has been supporting the projects of the Association as one of the organizers, sponsors or participants. This year, Atty. Barroga will spearhead the Association's environmental conservation projects, which is very close to her heart being an advocate of environmental protection and conservation.
Atty. Barroga has spent most of her professional life in the government, where she earned a slew of awards reflecting her dedication to her work. She takes pride in having been awarded in November 2015 as Outstanding CPA in Government by the Philippine Institute of CPAs.
She rose from the ranks, and held the following positions in BIR:
• Revenue Officer
• Executive Assistant
• Technical Assistant
• Assistant Revenue District Officer, and
• Revenue District Officer.
She underwent training from the Development Academy of the Philippines and became a member of the BIR's Speakers Pool.
She has attended various seminars and training courses including:
• Japan International Seminar on Taxation conducted by their National Tax Agency.
• PICPA MMR International Conference held in Hong Kong, Australia, and The Netherlands.
• Climate Reality Leadership Training in San Francisco USA conducted by former US Vice-President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore.
• 34th Session-International Standards of Accounting & Reporting held at the UN office in Geneva, Switzerland.
• Comparative Tax Policy and Administration Program, John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education.
She graduated Cum Laude from the Divine Word University of Tacloban and finished Law at the University of the East in Manila.
Prior to her retirement in May 2017, she was the Revenue District Officer of BIR RDO No. 32-Quiapo.
Atty. Barroga currently manages a small business in addition to her tax practice.
