ACPACI CARES: BIRTHDAY BLAST WITH THE ORPHANS

ACPACI, through the initiative of its Social Involvement Committee led by Directors Cecille Carandang and Wennie Lemen, and Chairs Al Casas and Noel Ang, joined the children and residents of White Cross Orphanage in their Picnic Day on February 5, 2022 at the White Cross grounds in San Juan City. Today is also the birthday of ACPACI National President, Mr. Aphat C. Martinez, who headed the occasion. Everyone present during the picnic had a blast!

During the event, ACPACI distributed loot bags to the 53 resident children of White Cross. Each loot bag contains cakes, chips, cookies, shirt, towel and toiletries. Breakfast was also served to the 100 residents. Hotdogs were donated, as well, for the grilling part of the picnic.

The special event was attended by ACPACI President Aphat Martinez, ACPACI Directors Cecilia Carandang, Edna Constantino and Flor Gorospe. Also present were PICPA Western Metro Manila Chapter officers, President Meynard Bonoen and Director Peter John Ventura.

Similar gift giving activity was also held in the same orphanage last December 2021. There were 62 children who were waiting for adoption then.

ACPACI extends its gratitude and appreciation to all the staff and personnel of White Cross Orphanages, particularly to its Executive Director, Ms Mely Reluya, for all their hard work and dedication in providing temporary shelter to these orphans; as well as to the ACPACI officers and benefactors who unselfishly shared their resources to make the event successful.
