CONGRATULATIONS LOUDIE JAY FALGUERA, NEWEST MEMBER OF AUDIT AND ASSURANCE STANDARDS COUNCIL (AASC)

Loudie is an active ACPACI member and currently a member of the Board and Vice President for Membership Development at ACPACI where he leads the initiatives to acquire, engage, retain and serve growing active ACPACI members. He previously served as Co-Chair of Publications and Website Committee of ACPACI where he actively supported the update of the ACPACI website and regular update of social media pages.



He is currently the Vice President & Head of Finance of Wilcon Depot, Inc., a publicly listed company and the Philippines' leading home improvement and construction supplies retailer, where he leads the Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, and Operations Audit Team of the company. He also leads various automation, process improvement, reforms, and transformation initiatives which give rise to receiving the Excellence in Audit Compliance, and Governance Award at FutureCFO Excellence Awards 2022 held in Singapore last February 24, 2022. He joined Wilcon Depot, Inc. in year 2018 as an Asst. VP – Controller.


Before joining Wilcon, he was an external auditor, internal audit supervisor, accounting manager, head of financial planning, and financial controller in various local and multinational companies, both privately held and publicly listed. He is a strategic and multifaceted finance leader with extensive experience in diverse industries including manufacturing, supply chain and distribution, eCommerce, real estate, and retail.


He is also the current President and Chairman of the Board at the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) - Philippines Chapter. During his term, the IMA Philippines Chapter was recognized as one of the most active chapters globally in terms of member activities, professional development initiatives, engagement with students thru the creation of the IMA student chapter in the Philippines, and social media updates. He previously served as VP for Professional Education at IMA Philippines Chapter before he assumed his current role.


He also received various awards and recognition such IMA Exemplary Young Professional Global Award and IMA Philippines Chapter Servant Leadership Award. He was also recognized as one of the Top 100 Filipinos on LinkedIn in year 2021.


Loudie graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in BS Accountancy from Saint Paul School of Professional Studies. He is a Certified Public Accountant garnering the 5th highest CPA board rating in May 2008.


He also earned various global certifications and credentials such as the US Certified Management Accountant (CMA)- a global certification issued by Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Certified Financial Consultant issued by the Institute of Financial Consultants. He also completed the Strategic CFO Program in New Jersey, USA.


Loudie is married to Manilyn Balledo Falguera who hails from the same school where he attended, the Saint Paul School of Professional Studies in Palo, Leyte. Loudie and Manilyn are blessed with a handsome and smart son named Fred.


Loudie is passionate about shaping the future of the accounting and finance profession and giving back to the profession through his active involvement in various professional organizations. He believes that accountants play a vital role in governance and nation-building.
