1ST GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING OF ACPACI CENTRAL LUZON CHAPTER

ACPACI Central Luzon Chapter’s 1st General Membership Meeting (GMM) was held this evening, February 9, 2022.
President Toots Cruz updated the members on the new National Board Members and Officers headed by President Aphat Martinez. The Central Luzon Chapter Board and Committee Chairs were also introduced. President Toots updated the members on the Induction of the Chapter Board and Officers last Dec 2 and the Community Outreach project held last Dec 30, wherein the Chapter sponsored a Pre- New Year lunch at the Brothers of Mercy St John of God facilities for the mentally and physically challenged wards in Igulod, Bocaue, Bulacan. A short video of thanks sent by the facility’s administrator was played.
The theme for the year: “Strengthening Relevance. Building on our Legacy” was also announced together with the four key result areas for the year. An update on the Members in Good Standing was also made by President Toots, the number being 60. He also encouraged the members to invite other CPAs in Commerce and Industry to join the Chapter. Plans and projects for the year will be properly announced in due time. Such will be aligned with the National Office mandates. Finally, Atty Toots expressed his gratitude to Mr Dante Torres, the officers of PICPA Bulacan Chapter headed by Pres. Rizaldy Martin, ACPAPP Bulacan Chapter headed by Pres. Ma. Lourdes Capili and the AIT and Dr. Estelita Aguirre.
The GMM coincided with the free webinar on Mastering BIR Year-End Compliance Requirements with our very own member, Mr Dante R Torres as resource speaker.
The said webinar was in collaboration with PICPA Bulacan Chapter, ACPAPP Bulacan Chapter and the Asian Institute of Taxation.
